Chairing a committee
Once a committee is established it is the full responsibility of the chair to make sure that the committee is properly managed and functioning effectively. There is much more to chairing a committee than preparing the meeting agendas and facilitating the meetings! Lucky there are a lot of resources and tools available to help you with this task.
In the sections below you will find articles and links to other resources on the web with information on a wide range of topics.
Meetings
Meetings probably still are the main contributing factor to the success or failure of a committee. Because they are so important, we dedicated a special section of this site to meeting best practice advice and information.
